Foster passed away in 2000 after a bout with pneumococcal pneumonia. Foster graduated from UVA, had two daughters, and is survived by his daughters and Gretchen Witt. Foster was a CPA and lived in Richmond, VA.
In 1983 I began wondering if there would be a 20 year reunion. When I called Foster to ask, his first words after I told him who I was, were "You're one of our missing persons". I was surprised he remembered me. It was great seeing everyone then and will be great in October.
